Hatef Madani from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) at AIT

Assistant Professor Hatef Madani has joined AIT to establish cooperation between AIT and KTH in the field of digitalization in building energy systems.

Prof. Madani holds a PhD in Energy Technology and specialized in techno-economic analysis of Building Energy Systems with a focus on system modeling and system thinking. He is currently leading several courses and research projects at KTH on the topics such as Energy Management, Heat Pumps, and solar energy systems for Buildings and cities. He is also a member of the Board of the European Technology and Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC ETIP).

During his stay as visiting R&D strategist, he aims at enhancing research collaboration between KTH and AIT through development of a common research program in the field of Intelligent Building Energy systems.
