2017 Conference on Human-Robot Interaction: “Smart Interaction

20.02.2017
HRI Takes Place in Vienna from 6-9 March 2017 – Manfred Tscheligi is General Chair

The HRI Conference is a highly selective annual international conference for basic and applied human-robot interaction research. It aims to showcase the very best interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research in human-robot interaction with roots in and broad participation from communities that include but not limited to robotics, human-computer interaction, human factors, artificial intelligence, engineering, and social and behavioral sciences.

This year’s conference takes place in Vienna, co-organized by the AIT Center for Technology Experience. Together with Bilge Mutlu (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Manfred Tscheligi (Head of Center for Technology Experience) acts as General Chair.

Researchers from across the world attend and submit their best work to HRI to exchange ideas about the latest theories, technology, data, and videos furthering the state-of-the-art in human-robot interaction. Each year, the HRI Conference highlights a particular area through a theme. The theme of HRI 2017 is “Smart Interaction,” following Vienna’s “Smart City” initiative.

Keynotes:
