The Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo), Korean Chapter, will host this year’s FOSS4G Korean conference in Seoul on 12 and 13 October. FOSS4G is the acronym for “Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial”; the conference has a special focus on open source GIS (Geographic Information System). This year’s slogan is “Open Technology, Open Mind, Open Community”.
Anita Graser, Scientist at AIT’s Center for Mobility Systems, was invited to give a keynote. On Saturday, 13 October, she will have a presentation on the exciting intersection between open source GIS and data science for transportation research.
