Networking Session zu Future Working Experience (ICT 2015)

Okt 21

This networking session, organized by Sebastian Egger, Scientist at the Business UnitTechnology Experience”, is dedicated to discuss Europe’s Digital Agenda and support the building of consortia to identify challenges and opportunities in changing working environments: How can collaboration between cyber-physical systems, robots and workers improve production processes in the “factory of the future”. What is the role of cloud computing, the Internet of Things and Big Data in working environments? How can we support human values (e.g. sustainability, social innovation) at the workplace through persuasive technologies? How can alternative paradigms at the workplace (e.g. gamification) be beneficial for productivity and for the workers well-being? What can we do to increase organizational information security and prevent data leaks (e.g. through social engineering)?

The outcome of the networking session should be: A prioritized list of main challenges of ICTs in changing working environments and a discussion of a research agenda within the H2020 work programme with a special focus on human work interaction and experience design.
