ISESS is a conference series organized on behalf of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) and Computers and Environment (WG 5.11). The conference topics are related to Environmental Information Systems (EIS). Furthermore it is a meeting place for experts on leading edge technologies, and it aims to foster the standardization and integration of environmental data and information flows in the world, which are essential pre-requirements for managing our natural resources, event risks or crises in a framework of sustainable development.
The 2013 conference is organised by the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in cooperation with IFIP, Masaryk University and the European Environment Agency.
