AIT at 31st International Epilepsy Congress (IEC)

Sep 05
The congress is organised jointly by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) and the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE).

At the AIT booth, the experts of the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology will present the latest technologies in the field of "Biosignal Processing" and will demonstrate an innovative software tool called encevis which is developed at AIT.

The AIT presents encevis, an EEG-software that provides solutions for various areas of electrophysiology, including long term EEG-monitoring for epilepsy and critical care. encevis includes five software tools. EpiScan and EpiSpike enable highly reliable automatic seizure and spike detections, and were validated in a prospective clinical study. PureEEG, a fully automatic artifact reduction, discovers the EEG even in heavy distorted brain signals. EpiSource provides fast and easy 3D source localization. NeuroTrend, an advanced EEG-trending for critical care, includes the detection of six different EEG-patterns as well as amplitude-integrated EEG and the detection of burst suppression.
