Under the motto "Security is Key" the AIT presented itself together with Nokia at this year's M2M / IoT Forum CE in the Vienna City Hall. More than 400 visitors from 20 countries, as well as 58 speakers, provided an exciting program and were presented with many innovations concerning the latest IoT (Internet-of-Things).
The fact that the maschine-2-maschine communication now also plays an important role to the end consumers was shown by the various practical examples. An important aspect highlighted by the Head of Center for Digital Safety & Security Helmut Leopold is the all-encompassing security problem with networked devices. In order to keep abreast of the rapid development of Internet-of-Things, experts at the AIT are developing new methodologies and tools to create resilient systems - especially in the area of critical infrastructures.
