Summer Internships & Compulsory Internships for Pupils
We believe that AIT is the perfect place to excite and inspire school pupils about the research and scientific world. Are you interested in subjects such as biology, chemistry, mathematics, technology, and engineering? Or marketing, accounting, and administration?
That’s great, because at AIT you can apply for an internship. You can choose between two options:
- Summer internship
Application period: January/February - Compulsory internship (Berufspraktische Tage) in the form of practical experience days
Application period: open throughout the school year
As part of the compulsory internship programme, pupils from the 8th grade onwards have the opportunity to experience for 1-5 days the everyday working life in the field of research and development at first hand. The programme is designed in a practical and interactive way.
If you are interested, please send us your documents (cover letter, CV and forms regarding the training days from the respective school). Depending on the demand and resources in our departments, we will then allocate the available places.
What does a complete application for pupils look like?
- Curriculum vitae (CV) - Please let us know which school you are currently enrolled at, and if you specialize in a particular field.
- Cover letter - We would love to hear which topics or which kind of activities you are interested in.
Please also let us know your preferred start date or preferred internship duration.
