Christian Chimani, Head of AIT Mobility Department, presents current research and innovation Trends

Mobility is undergoing changes worldwide. What do the current trends mean for the economy? What does green logistics look like in the city of the future? What innovative approaches are European cities pursuing? What are the key research areas? These and other questions will be answered in expert lectures, interviews and discussions during the environmental symposium „Zero Emission Cities 2015“. The event will once again be moderated by Claudia Reiterer (ORF), the division for industry of the Chamber of Commerce, and the association of Viennese engineering offices. As in previous years, entry is free of charge.

Highlights: The keynote speech will be held by the German trend researcher, Sven Gábor Jánszky, whose Think-tank 2b AHEAD completed an extensive study on the future of mobility. Parking with a mobile App, the car as a moving office, and company car sharing are just a few things that the foreseeable future holds in store. Along with Vienna, Brussels and Östersund will also introduce trendsetting mobility projects including multimodal and sustainable transport, as well as, green motorways.

The afternoon is dedicated to electromobility. Christian Chimani, Head of the AIT Mobility Department, will present current research and innovation trends. The event will close with a panel discussion and workshop by klimaaktiv mobil.
