AIT is a member of the YEAR Network, the Young European Associated Researchers, which organizes a conference for their members each year.
The YEAR Annual Conference 2017 will take place on 12th-13th June 2017 in Brussels. The conference is targeting young and early-career researchers from the YEAR Network, who want to improve their project idea creation, pitching, as well as collaborative and innovative working skills.
During this 2-days event, professional trainers will give you practical tips and tools for ideation, pitching as well as collaborative and innovative thinking. The whole key of the YEAR Annual Conference is to put you in a real environment so that you practice those techniques. Concretely, you will have to apply them in inter-disciplinary groups to develop creative solutions to solve current universal challenges. The most interesting idea will receive the YEAR Award.
Improving those skills can highly benefit your career, as innovation, creativity, ability to work in group or to convince an audience about the quality of an idea are still more expected from a researcher.
