The AIT supports national and European initiatives on ‘Public Procurement Promoting Innovation (PPPI)’ since 2007. A Policy Lab approach has been applied for their optimal design and implementation. It covers the entire policy cycle, from scientific studies to strategy-based policy design and application support to impact monitoring. Thereby we cooperate closely with policy makers, public procurers, private enterprises, funding agencies as well as research, statistical and legal institutions. Our clients are among others the Austrian Federal Government, the European Commission and public purchasers.
