Experience: DI Romana Stollnberger is working for the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), Center of Energy in the business unit “Sustainable Buildings and Cities” as Junior Research Engineer since September 2016. She holds a degree for spatial planning from the Technical University of Vienna. During her studies, Romana worked for AIT since June 2014 and also wrote her diploma thesis (2015-2016) with the topic „Industrial and commercial waste heat potential and its usage for an energy efficient urban development in the city of Vienna”. Her main areas of research are sustainable development of cities and regions, spatial energy planning for smart cities and GIS-based analysis of spatial systems.
