Main Research: Urban remote sensing, spatio-temporal modelling, energy planning, vulnerability analysis, population modelling

Experience: Dr. Steinnocher has more than 20 years of experience in remote sensing, spatial data analysis and spatio-temporal modeling for different fields of application, including regional and urban planning, environmental analyses, vulnerability assessment, risk and crisis management. His recent work focuses on the integration of socio-economic information and geospatial data for population modeling and disaggregation of multi-level information in both spatial and temporal domains. Current projects aim at decision support in the context of energy planning, land use analysis and crisis management.
