Experience: She obtained her degree (DI) at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna in Food Technology and Biotechnology. Before joining the Food & Feed Safety team at Austrian Institute of Technology in 2013, she worked in the sector of food additives, food preservation and pathogen control. As part of the Food & Feed Safety team she is participating in the research fields of microbial ecology of food and food spoilage. Further research interests include the development of DNA-based pathogen detection tools and biosensors.
