I completed my PhD in the field of computational and theoretical physics at the University of Vienna. My PhD-thesis deals with dynamical-systems theory and more specifically I studied the Lyapunov instability of a large class of systems in and out of thermal equilibrium. I studied the properties of the newly introduced covariant Lyapunov vectors. I got also interested in the symplectic geometry and Hamiltonian systems.
My current project consists in developing analytical/numerical tools to control complex energy systems. I am particularly interested in the control of the synchrony in power-grid networks via dynamical-systems theory.
