Main Research: Interaction design, user-centered design, Smart and Creative Cities

Experience: Angeliki worked for a year in multimedia processing research and then pursued a professional doctorate in engineering on Human Computer Interaction at Eindhoven University of Technology. There she worked on internal design projects and with Philips on prototyping and evaluating concepts based on Philips Surround Sound Systems. At CURE and AIT, Angeliki has been involved in various international research projects, mainly targeting the health and well-being of older population. Currently Angeliki is developing her knowledge in the domain of Smart and Creative Cities. Interaction design, concept design and interdisciplinarity - bridging the gaps between social science, design and technology - lie at the core of her research focus.
