The Urban Europe Research Alliance (UERA) aims at facilitating exchange of experiences between city representatives and researchers of the UERA during the upcoming meeting on 8th and 9th of November 2018 in Vienna, Austria. The event takes place on the premises of the AIT being a member of the UERA since 2016. The UERA meeting also seeks to prepare the ground for successful joint research projects in the future addressing the needs of cities. A Science-City-Dialogue, a matchmaking for future research and innovation proposals, and thematic working group meetings will take place during the UERA meeting.
The UERA meeting takes place back-to-back with the Informed Cities Conference. ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability and partners such as SMARTICIPATE project organise the Informed Cities Conference from 7 to 8 November 2018.
