eHealth2016 - Austria's national eHealth event

Thematic of this year's scientific conference eHealth2016: Predictive modeling in healthcare – from prediction to prevention

From the 24th to 25th of May 2016 the tenth eHealth Conference in Vienna takes place. The theme of this convention is"Predictive modeling in healthcare – from prediction to prevention", future ICT systems need to include methods of machine learning and predictive analytics in order to provide actionable information to health carers and to support preventive health care concepts.

The congress represents the successful cooperation between HIMSS and the Austrian partners: AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, UMIT, OCG and OEGBMT. The Programme Committee includes renowned representatives from key sectors such as politics, science, users and industry, thus ensuring that all important and relevant topics for the Austrian healthcare are being addressed and reflected in the programme.

PDMS 2016 Conference:

Patient Data Management System. The panels deal with the key issues:

  • decision aids in PDMS - what is possible, what is important?
  • data security and availability from the perspective of the user
  • Contribution from the PDMS to the economy

E.T. Award
The 2016 E. T. Award for innovative patient communication will be assigned for innovative eHealth projects, which promote communication between health care providers and patients.

Once again the eHealth2016 is organized in context of the eHealth Summit Austria. The session provides a comprehensive program according to the motto "Predictive modeling in healthcare – from prediction to prevention".
