Isabela Mocanu, Scientist at the Business Unit Transportation Infrastructure Technologies, held a lecture at the HLEG (High Level Expert Group) meeting "Airports of the future" on "Safety and security multimodal requirements". Together with high level experts from air, road and rail transport, she discussed the safety and security requirements across all transport modes as well as the common research challenges in enhancing safety and security in transport.
As a representative of AIT, Isabela Mocanu is WP leader of the Safety and Security work package of theH2020 project – USE-iT, a project, which seeks to better understand the common challenges experienced across all transport modes in terms of User Experience, Safety and Security and Energy.
During the meeting, all attendants had the opportunity of flying with the Red Bull 1950’s DC-6B, leaving from Hangar 7, Salzburg. Watch a short video of the round flight across the Austrian Alps and the landing in Salzburg.
