Train&Win

The training program Train&Win allows you to train at home in front of your own TV set. A female or male virtual trainer shows various exercises of different difficulty levels and requirements. A camera tracks the movement of the exercising person and determines whether the exercises are carried out correctly. If necessary, the trainer gives instructions for better execution of an exercise. Additional tips for a healthy and life-affirming lifestyle strengthen the health consciousness.

Kith&Kin

Did you ever imagine handling ICT technology that adapts to your skills and wishes instead of making you adapt to it? The Kith&Kin project addresses the problem of increasing emotional and social loneliness among older singles living at a distance from their family and friends.
Kith&Kin offers a solution for technology illiterate older adults or those with little experience in using tablets, smart phones, etc. to foster the communication and interaction with their family and friends by designing a new product, which is based on well-known communication and interaction patterns.

Through tangible interaction possibilities following the criteria easy to understand, easy to handle and fun to use Kith&Kin enables older adults to use the functionalities communicating, gaming, and sharing.
At the AAL Forum the final Kith&Kin prototype was presented, which will now be tested in real life settings in Switzerland and in the Netherlands.
