Planning, installation and maintenance of heat pumps

This continuing education for heating installers is a combination of the two continuing education courses:

During the five or six days of the course, in addition to the technological basics of heat pump/refrigeration technology, the planning, installation and maintenance of heat pumps and air conditioning systems with intervention in the refrigeration circuit (see below for restrictions) are taught. The continuing education concludes with these certificates if all requirements are met:

Complete price: EUR 1.750,- excl. VAT*.

This price is only valid for the venue Vienna and includes the further training, the training documents (e-learning), one exam entry, beverages during breaks and the initial certification as Certified Heat Pump Installer or Planner (valid for 3 years). *
Members of the Heat Pump Association Austria as well as companies that register at least three participants for the same date will receive a discount of 10% on the above mentioned complete price. If this is the case for you, please announce it in the "field for message for registration" when registering for the course.*

External certification costs: EUR 40,- excl. VAT (will be charged by the Bundesinnung für Sanitär-, Heiz- und Lüftungstechniker).

Further information

Category II certified personnel are authorized to install, maintain, service and recover refrigerant in systems with a charge of less than 3 kg, or less than 6 kg in hermetically sealed systems. Depending on the type of refrigerant and the design of the heat pump or refrigeration system, this corresponds to a cooling or heating capacity of up to approx. 20 kW.
According to EU Regulation 517/2014 (F-Gas Regulation), refrigerants may now only be sold to companies with a company certificate. For this company certificate, it is necessary that employees working on equipment containing these F-Gases have a personal certificate in accordance with EU Regulation 2015/2067.

In addition to the certifications, the following optional partnerships are available:

NEW: E-learning course

Most modules can be completed in addition or as an alternative to the classroom days in a flexible timeframe on a PC, tablet or smartphone using audio-visual multimedia lectures. Furthermore, online practice tests are available for exam preparation. The e-learning course content can be completed at any time.
