Efficient short and long term thermal energy storage technologies are crucial in enhancing energy security and improving energy efficiency in energy conversion, distribution and end use.
Tes4SeT aims at contributing significantly to the development of a new generation of efficient and compact thermal energy storages in three fields of application: buildings, industry and mobility. The new generation of storage technologies shall support the fulfilment of national energy efficiency and renewable energy targets. In addition, the project results and developments shall strengthen the leading role of Austria in the technology sectors targeted by the project.
