SolidHeat Kinetics will characterize reactions suitable for thermochemical heat storage. Thermal analysis will provide data on yield, temperature and pressure dependence and form the basis for kinetic modelling. Subsequently, the most promising materials are optimized in terms of their applicability via thermal and chemical treatment. Further studies should provide information on the behavior of the material in the bed.
Our team is analyzing several promising thermochemical materials (TCM) and providing STA measurements with different heating rates for further kinetic analysis. Additional specific heat capacity cp(T) and effective thermal transport properties (λeff(T), aeff(T)) of the powder with different bulk densities are characterized.
