AIT offers system design in hard and software for capturing contactless biometrics. In this example, a feasibility study was conducted for vascular pattern recognition, commonly also referred to as vein pattern authentication. Near-infrared light in combination with adapted filters and sensors is used to capture the unique pattern of a palm vein.
