PREF - Analysis of National Public Research Funding, by Theme and by Type of Allocation
The aim of the PREF-Public Research Funding study is to collect information on and provide an analysis of national public research funding, by theme and by type of allocation (competitive project based funding versus institutional funding). This includes an overview of the evolution and current state of public research funding in European and selected non-European Countries, to be summarized in form of country profiles for the 40 countries under consideration..
