The study was supported by the Austrian Development Agency, the Austrian Trade Association, Import Austria and CRIF GmbH. It contains an analysis of application scenarios for distributed ledger and blockchain technologies in the supply chain. Particular attention is paid to aspects of product traceability along the supply chain and the creditworthiness of suppliers in developing countries.
This report provides a framework for evaluating the opportunities and risks associated with implementing a novel technology for companies wishing to address these challenges.
