Assessment of User Needs for Adapting Cobra including an Online Database

(CEDR 2014, Mobility & ITS)

The ANACONDA project assists CEDR road authorities to identify which cooperative traffic services(e.g. detection of congestion and transferring the information to following vehicles) deliver maximum benefit and enable road operators to manage the road network more cost-effectively. The project will build on the results of COBRA (Cooperative Benefits for Road Authorities). This previous project developed a first version of the COBRA tool, which provides insights into the costs and benefits of investments of cooperative systems, e.g. traffic monitoring. These insights are provided on the basis of a decision support tool which enables the costs, infrastructure savings and monetized benefits of Cooperative ITS (C-ITS) to be compared in various contexts.

This project is funded under the CEDR Transnational Research Programme,Call 2014 „Mobility & ITS“.http://www.cedr.fr/home/index.php?id=270
