Cornerstone of Structural Materials

The classic tensile test forms the foundation for the mechanical assessment of materials. It also provides essential information on stiffness and resilience. At the LKR, testers with many years of experience draw on the full range of stress directions from cryogenic up to high temperatures.
In addition, the hardness test is integrated within the test group at the LKR and thus completes the classic mechanical material test.

OUR SERVICES

  • Strain and tension-controlled tensile/compression/bending test according to standard (EN 6892) and based on customer specification
  • Wide parameter window (force up to 250kN, temperatures from -70°C to 300°C)
  • In-house production of sample holders for special requirements (for example peeling tension)
  • Brinell hardness testing to complete the mechanical characteristic value profile of materials
