In an interview with the industry magazine (cover story attached as PDF), Scientific Director Andreas Kugi emphasises the essential importance of AI for the industry of the future. Through the targeted use of AI, industry can sustainably strengthen its competitiveness.
Kugi explains that the AIT AI Task Force was set up to pool expertise in a targeted manner. It is working on building a comprehensive AI infrastructure and setting up a company-wide knowledge exchange platform.
In addition to technological aspects, Kugi emphasises that the success of AI implementations depends on a holistic way of thinking, a future-oriented corporate culture and clearly defined goals. ‘Artificial intelligence is not a passing fad – it's here to stay,’ says Kugi.
