The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Team of Specialists on Innovation and Competitiveness Policies will meet in October 2020. This year due to the exceptional circumstances the meeting will be held virtually through a series of webinars under the umbrella topic “Building Back Better after COVID-19: Promoting Innovation for a Sustainable Future”.
Eva Buchinger from the Center for Innovation Systems & Policy is invited speaker of the webinar on the issues building Back Better: innovation enhancing procurement” on Friday 23 October 2020 from 10:00 to 12:00.
The webinar offers a platform for intensive discussion among governments, policy makers, business and academia on how public procurement can act as a catalyst for the innovations necessary to build back better and more sustainably in the aftermath of Covid-19 pandemic. The meeting also offers the opportunity to share experiences and showcase good practices among UNECE member states with a view to helping less advanced countries adapt existing approaches to their particular context.
