Final workshop of the CEDR-funded project ControlInRoad in Vienna

50 stakeholders from eleven European countries discussed strategies to contain invasive species in road maintenance and road construction.
 

The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, Center Health & Bioresources, Competence Unit Bioresources, organized the final workshop of the CEDR-funded project ControlInRoad in Vienna on 28th November.

More than 50 stakeholders from eleven European countries discussed strategies to contain invasive species in road maintenance and road construction. The results of the ControlInRoad project were presented and discussed. The stakeholders from different countries presented their experiences in dealing with invasive plants. In the final round table discussion necessary measures for an effective control of invasive plants were discussed.
