Friederich Kupzog receives Role Model Award of IEEE Austria

At the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the IEEE Austria Section Michael Heiss, vice-president of IEEE Austria, awarded the Role Model Award 2019 of the TEMS Chapter to Friederich Kupzog.

The nomination statement of the jury explains the reasons:

‚Friederich Kupzog leads his competence unit based on a high level of expertise and with the ability to take decisions in a quick, reproducible and transparent way. He is not self-centered but promotes his team members and values their performance‘

Friederich Kupzog ist Head of the Competence Unit Electric Energy Systems, Center for Energy and manages approx. 80 persons at the Center for Energy.

IEEE is the biggest professional organisation worldwide, committed to develop technologies for human welfare. On November 5th the IEEE Austria Section celebrated its 40th anniversary together with its founding member Prof. Dr. Kurt Richter, numerous past section chairs, the IEEE R8 representative and past director Margaretha Eriksson, and the representatives of the IEEE office Vienna Clara Neppel and Hermann Brand. The event was generously hosted by Daniel Watzenig and Anton Fuchs, organizers of the ICCVE 2019 International Conference on Connected Vehicles and Expo at Messe Graz.
