JPI Urban Europe invites all projects funded in the ENSCC call and other key actors in the JPI Urban Europe community and the Smart Cities Member States Initiative to the ENSCC final event.
The ERA-NET Cofund Call Smart Cities and Communities (ENSCC) is coming to an end in 2019 and most of the 17 projects have already finalized or will do so during the Spring. In this context the ENSCC Final Event taking place in Vienna on April 2 offers for the funded projects a good opportunity to share research results, to plan communication and exploitation follow-up activities and to identify opportunities for future collaboration. For funding agencies and stakeholders from cities and business provides an opportunity to learn about results and outcomes from the projects and join a discussion on the potential impacts. A Smart Cities and Communities results catalogue will be launched at the event.
Target groups: We invite representatives from all projects funded in the call ERA-NET Cofund call Smart Cities and Communities (ENSCC), funding agencies (particularly from the ENSCC Steering Committee), stakeholders from cities, representatives from Smart Cities Member States Initiative, JPI Urban Europe Governing and Management boards, Scientific advisory board, experts from the European Commission and other interested parties.
Back-to-back with the event a cities workshop and site-visit related to the newly launched initiative Positive Energy Districts and Neighbourhoods programme will be organized on April 3-4. Participants at the workshop and site-visit are welcome to join the ENSCC final event as well.
The Legacy of ENSCC and Lessons for the Future – Panel Discussion
At 3 pm Robert Kalcik and Susanne Meyer from AIT, together with Jonas Bylund from the JPI Urban Europe Management Board, will take part in a panel discussion. The aim is to define the most important outcomes from the ENSCC initiative and the funded projects on an aggregated level and to start describing the ENSCC legacy from different important perspectives.
