Lecture by Christian Stefan on the "RISKANT" project

Jan 23

On 23.01.2019, an FSV information afternoon on innovative research projects in the field of road safety will take place in Vienna.

Christian Stefan, Road Safety expert at the AIT Center for Mobility Systems, will present the RISKANT project. This was carried out on behalf of ASFINAG with the aim of developing a risk model for the evaluation of accidents with stationary obstacles on motorways and expressways. With the help of different regression models and the finite element method, the risk of collision with stationary obstacles was assessed.

The Austrian Road - Rail - Transport Research Association (FSV) regularly organises high-level events for transport safety as an RSI/RSA forum, at which domestic and foreign experts are invited as speakers and hold a discussion round immediately after their presentations. Important topics of road safety will be discussed and examined from different perspectives.

Wed, 23.01.2019
13:30-18:00
FSV, 1040 Vienna, Karlsgasse 5
