Around 150 experts and representatives of the logistics industry accepted the invitation of the Austrian Roadmap 2050 to the symposium "The Future of Mobility & Logistics in Europe". In cooperation with the "Sparte Transport & Verkehr" of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and the "Zentralverband Spedition & Logistik", the Roadmap was able to invite to the half-day symposium in the Sky Lounge of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber on 23 November. Top-class speakers discussed future opportunities and challenges of new technologies.

Among them was Matthias Prandtstetter, Senior Scientist and logistics expert at the AIT Center for Mobility Systems, who discussed in the "Austrian Logistics" panel with Peter Umundum (Member of the Board of Österreichische Post AG), Wolfram Senger-Weiss (President of the Zentralverband Spedition & Logistik) and Andrea Faast (Head of the Urban Planning and Transport Policy Department of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber). In his statements, Prandtstetter particularly emphasized the role of research in relation to innovative logistics solutions.
