On 11 July, the event “Foresight: driving EU towards a knowledge-based society” will be held at the European Parliament in Brussels. It aims at debating on the relevance of foresight, in particular addressing the role of Science &Technology in fulfilling the societal needs.
Carlos Moedas, Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation will welcome the participants and introduce the meeting. Matthias Weber, Head of Center for Innovation Systems & Policy, will participate in a round table discussion, focusing on foresight to support policy and solutions.
