With the more regulations on fuel economy and emissions to curb global warming as well as constraints on energy resources, hybrid-electric and electric vehicles (HEV/EVs) are attracting more attention of automobile manufacturers, customers and governments. The AIT research in the field of Propulsion Technologies is focused on novel technologies and topologies for the timely investigation, analysis and realization of energy efficient, safe and low-carbon propulsion components and concepts.
