AIT offers system design in hardware and software for capturing contactless biometrics. In this example, a feasibility study was conducted into vascular pattern recognition – commonly also referred to as vein pattern authentication. Near-infrared light, in combination with adapted filters and sensors, is used to capture the unique pattern of a palm vein.

We carry out studies to compare, test and analyse customer systems, either individually or in combination. Uniform procedures and tools for the structured, methodical testing of biometric systems ensure objective evaluation.
