The detection of spikes and other interictal patterns in the EEG still belongs to the most protracted tasks of the EEG diagnostics. At the AIT technologies are developed, which reliably automatize the detection of spikes. The spike detection “EpiSpike”renders possible a quick overview of the distribution of interictal discharges. In this way the diagnosing physician obtains a reliable overview as well as quantifiable trend analysis within a few seconds.

High sensitivity combined with a low error-rate characterizes the AIT algorithms. A modern interface design enables a simple integration of the algorithms in the recording systems of the EEG producers.
