The goal of TeleAcceleromics is the exploration of solutions that are embeding human bio-signals from acceleration sensors in telemedicine care concepts. Algorithms developed in the field of acceleration should be combined with patient-centered, mobile phone based data aquisition, especially with NFC, in the application telemedicine, eHealth, and AAL.

The basis of this research project is an acceleration sensor that is integrated into a belt buckle worn on the body. The sensor will be extended with modern, proven communication technologies such as NFC and Bluetooth to allow the reading of stored data using a mobile phone. A study should also ensure the acceptability of the technical solution.
