Young AIT battery researcher awarded with runner-up prize for Poster Session

Iliyan Popov, PhD student of the Battery Technologies team at Center for Low-Emission Transport, was awarded with the runner-up prize for Poster Presentation in the 3rd Indo-Austrian Symposium on „Advances in Materials Engineering (AME2016)“ in Mumbai, India.

The Symposium is organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) Mumbai Chapter and NonFerrous Technology Development Centre (NFTDC). The aim of this symposium is to address challenges, where knowledge in materials engineering becomes an important tool to solve problems in the fields related to structural applications, energy storage, protection of materials and health care, primarily in India and Austria. AME 2016 brings together scientists, researchers and engineers from research institutes, universities and industries to a common forum.

The whole team is proud of this international honor and happy about the success.
